Online Event via Zoom: Small Homes, Big Movement

Home ownership is especially important in times of uncertainty, and small, simple, energy-efficient homes are an important piece in larger movements for housing stability and equity. This event featured keynote speaker, author Sheri Koones, a presentation from Pioneer Valley Habitat for Humanity on building homes and a small home movement during a pandemic, and wrapped up with a moderated audience Q&A.

This work and pilot research has been made possible through an Implementation grant funded by the Community Foundation of Western MA, which has allowed us to proactively explore how we can provide broader access to small, simple, durable, and energy efficient homes helping to launch more families into affordable first-time home ownership right here in Western Massachusetts.
